Terms and Conditions

Terms of Service:

1. Students must obtain a valid California learners’ permit and have it present during each lesson.
2. From the date of enrollment, the student has ten (10) MONTHS to complete our Driver Training Program-including Online Driver Education. If our Driver Training Program is not completed within the required 10-month time limit, the account will be considered expired and all fees paid will be forfeited and this contract will be terminated. An expired account may be reactivated within 1 year of the expiration date for a fee of $30.00 per lesson. The fact the person does not obtain a driver’s license during this time is not the responsibility of Traffic Depot and will not be cause for extension.
3. As the parent or guardian, I authorize my minor child to schedule his/her driving appointments and accept full responsibility for any fees incurred due to missed appointments or non-completion of the Driver Training Program within the required time limit.
4. Rescheduling or canceling of lessons must be done more than 48 business hours in advance of the scheduled drive lesson by the student/parent/guardian.
5. Traffic Depot Inc. has a $40 late cancellation and/or no-show policy to cover the costs associated with your missed lesson.

Arriving without a valid (California) learner’s permit or driver’s license, being impaired for any reason (lack of sleep, intoxication, medication, etc.), or wearing footwear which may impair the ability to safely operate the vehicle, the lesson will be canceled and considered a no-show, therefore a no-show fee will be applied.

In order to be eligible to receive a certificate (DL400D) you must:

• Complete 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a licensed driving instructor.
• Have no pending balances on your account.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be granted after three (3) business days after the initial enrollment date. Requests for refunds must be submitted in our office in writing within three (3) business days of the initial enrollment date. Refunds or prorated refunds will not be granted if the student has already completed at least one (1) lesson. If a refund request is approved, a $50.00 administrative processing fee will be deducted and a refund check will be mailed to the address on file within ten (10) business days. Refunds cannot be hand-distributed from our office.
